Ranking Policy
Rankings are the central comparison tool on BankRanking Europe. The purpose of the ranking is to make bank-account economics easier to compare — not simply to order banks by the affiliate commission they pay.
Core score
Typical scoring combines recurring account/card cost, mobile banking, access, travel usefulness and the real economic value of bonuses, cashback or promotional interest.
18–26 and 26+
Age-based account pricing is material in several European markets. The 18–26 view gives more weight to youth fee waivers, reduced campaign requirements and youth-oriented products. The 26+ view uses standard adult pricing and conditions.
Promotions
“Up to” rewards are treated as maximum potential values, not guaranteed cash. Where known, time-limited promotions carry deadlines and official-source links.
Commercial relationships
BankRanking may receive commission from some outbound bank links. Commission does not automatically increase the score. Any future paid placement that changes visibility outside the normal editorial ranking should be labelled clearly.
Sources and corrections
We prefer official bank product pages and published campaign conditions. Product facts are dated because banking offers change frequently.
