What BankRanking Europe provides, how the comparison service works and where the boundaries of the service sit.
What BankRanking Europe does
BankRanking Europe is a research-led banking comparison and information service. We structure public product information so consumers can compare major providers within a country and account category without having to reconstruct the market from dozens of separate bank pages.
The website is operated by DROPSHIPPING HOW TO ASCEND PROSTA SPÓŁKA AKCYJNA, ul. Cicha 32, 27-530 Ożarów, Poland, KRS 0001246502, NIP 8631712955, REGON 544994717. Contact: contact@bankranking.eu.
Personal, business, joint, student, youth and children's account comparisons with category-specific factors.
Coverage of savings accounts, fixed-term deposits, business savings and children's savings, with liquidity and rate conditions treated separately.
Structured views of bank investment services, funds, managed solutions and self-directed providers. Specialist platforms are separated from banks.
Selected product launches, regulatory developments, market changes and banking news with links to primary or authoritative sources where possible.
Country-specific comparison rather than one Europe-wide score
Banking markets differ materially in pricing, account structures, local payment infrastructure, consumer habits and eligibility requirements. BankRanking therefore builds rankings inside each national market rather than treating every European product as directly interchangeable.
The current architecture covers Poland, Italy and Spain, with Banking, Saving and Investing views for each market. Provider shortlists are intended to represent materially relevant consumer options, not every entity appearing in a regulatory register.
From research to an outbound bank link
| Stage | What happens |
|---|---|
| Market mapping | We identify major providers using regulatory, central-bank, banking-group and established market sources. |
| Product research | Fees, conditions, eligibility, benefits and relevant restrictions are collected primarily from official provider material. |
| Normalisation | Comparable facts are placed into a consistent category data model so products can be assessed on like-for-like factors. |
| Editorial ranking | The ordering uses category and segment rules described in the public methodology. Affiliate commission is excluded as a ranking variable. |
| User decision | The user can review the comparison, research source and product context, then choose whether to continue to the provider. |
Affiliate links can fund the service — they do not define the research universe
BankRanking may earn a commission when a user follows certain tracked links and completes an eligible action with a partner. We aim to separate this commercial layer from the research layer: advertiser status, affiliate availability, payout size, EPC or expected conversion are not intended to determine the organic ranking position.
If a future commercial placement changes visibility outside the ordinary editorial order, it should be clearly distinguishable from the organic ranking rather than presented as though it earned that position through research.
Important boundaries
- BankRanking is not a bank, payment institution, broker, deposit-taker or investment firm.
- We do not open, hold or administer customer accounts on bankranking.eu.
- We do not provide personalised financial, investment, tax or legal advice.
- We do not guarantee acceptance by any bank or provider.
- We do not rank banks by solvency or probability of default and are not a credit-rating agency.
- The website focuses on banking, savings and selected investment-related services rather than mortgages, loans or insurance comparisons.
Research, dates and corrections
Bank products can change without notice. We use dated research snapshots, source links, category-specific rules and a corrections process so that uncertainty is visible rather than hidden. Users should still verify the final product terms with the provider before opening an account or investing.
Built for comparison before a banking decision
The service is designed for people researching a banking product before deciding whether to open, switch or further investigate an account. It is also intended to make cross-market research more structured for readers comparing banking systems and providers across Europe.
