Rankings are not individual recommendations
A ranking position reflects the methodology for a defined country, category and customer segment at a particular research date. It cannot take account of every reader's income, tax position, transaction pattern, risk tolerance, need for branches, existing banking relationships or personal preferences.
The first position should be understood as the strongest result under the stated methodology and segment assumptions — not as a guarantee that the product is the best choice for every individual.
Banking information changes
We aim to use reliable and preferably primary sources, but fees, interest rates, eligibility rules, promotional deadlines, bonus conditions, product availability and legal terms can change after a research check. A bank may also change a product without immediately updating every public document.
